Fougere was one of our very first formulations, a carefully crafted recipe made from over ten different botanicals. It was once a hidden gem, simply a botanical mist and body oil, both cherished for their unique and clarifying essence. But when we first tried this formulation as a candle, we were instantly captivated. The scent journey begins with the top notes of ravensara and lemon. Ravensara brings a fresh, almost medicinal clarity, offering an uplifting and healing quality to the air. The lemon adds a bright, zesty burst, cutting through the atmosphere like sunlight filtering through the trees, infusing the space with an energizing, citrusy vibrance.

As the fragrance settles, heart notes of geranium, lavender, and patchouli emerge. The geranium adds a soft, floral sweetness that feels light and airy, while lavender brings a calming, herbal touch that gently soothes the senses. Patchouli, with its earthy, slightly spicy scent, deepens the experience, creating a grounding effect that lingers in the background.

Finally, the base notes of clove and cedarwood complete the fragrance. The hint of spicy clove adds a rich complexity, evoking a sense of mystery and warmth.
